Yeah, if all you want is to drop it 1.5 to 2 inches (they say 1.5 inches all around for 2nd gens, but after they settle out its probably more like 2) Eibachs do a great job of it. The ride will be a little stiffer, but it gets rid of wheel gap. I love mine. Install isn't too bad. Yes springs is all you need, the stock struts will be fine for awhile. You'll need jackstands or some way to get the car up, spring compressor, a few wrenches (don't remember the sizes). I'll try to dig up some pics I took when I installed mine back in may.

Stock

Lowered, Eibachs

that would be awesome, i got this thing with my wheels and tires that said i can get 0% off of springs since i bought wheels and tires, so i might take advantage of it and get myself an eibach pro kit. thanks for the pics if you find any

Id imagine the springs and struts package would make it a better drive, if you just get the springs its a bitch going over pot holes but it gives you sweet handling. Id lower my car for the handling, the look is just someting extra that comes with it.

Yeah, if you were wanting to put in new struts now would be the time to do it. I did it for looks and it did improve my handling slightly, I still need sway bars and some stiffer bushings and it will be tight.

yeah i was thinking i might get the springs, and then in a month or so get the struts. depending on how much money i have after bills i might order the springs in a week or two. if i dont have the money for that ill probably get a strut bar, or look into sway bars

Well I couldn't find that many install pics. Here are a few, I can probably tell you pretty much anything you need to know about installing eibachs.
