My first 95 Neon has just over 260,000 miles. I bought it delivered for $100 (thus my ID). It had a blown head gasket, locked up rear brake, and rear struts that were worn out. It had 203,000 when I bought it. Its been good but is going to be replaced by my latest 95 with 122,000 miles. I paid $165 for this one, body is great but brakes don't work. I'll scrap mine when I'm done and maybe get $100 for salvage.
my previous 95 neon highline made it to 132,xxx miles before engine & transmission and cooling system all failed and i traded it away. I suspect previous owners abused it badly as the fluids looked 'horrible' when i changed them out after taking ownership.
My more recent 04 neon r/t just ticked 40,000 pampered miles when it clashed with a full size truck and lost. I had kinda planned to keep that car, like forever.
