Iv tried brake fluid, and jus about every chemical in my bathroom on those, but this film of crap does not want to come off the outside of the lens.
What should i try next to get it off. I even tryed steel wool yes, but it didnt even budge that ****.

Wow that sucks man. Have you tried Goo Gone? I hate it when cars have that aweful crap on the headlights. Hey if all else fails you can always buy replacements from Modern Performance for $200 shipped.

I have never had to clean my head lights. They haven't gotten that dirty.
Any Bar & Tar remover might work, as well as Goo Gone.

I got new headlights. I called the Dodge dealership and they recommended someone who buffs Neon headlights out. I was thinking about using him but he was charging a good amount. I just decided to get new (better) ones.

Sort of, theres this film of something on the front of lens. It covers half of drivers side light, and the entire passeneger side, so thats how I can tell its a film or some kinda crap. Kind of like calcium its so hard

wet sand them, and then there is some plastic polish you can use to buff them
