Default 1995 neon water pump replacement how hard to do ?

Need to replace a leaking water pump on my 1995 Neon, understand most of the steps to do this. If not disturbing the engine and marking the pulleys and replacing them the exact way they were originally and putting everything back together what kind of timing issues will I have if any ? I replaced a water pump once on a Ford Escort and all I did was mark the pulleys and dampener and the block to make sure the they were in the original place when I started. Then all I had to was put everything back in place and the car ran fine. Also heard after replacing the water pump on my Neon would have to hook it up to something so the engine would have to relearn its codes is this true. Just want to know much of a pain this whole process this can be. Thanks for any advice. Mopars Rule
