Default What do you think about Electronic superchargers?

What do you think about Electronic superchargers? Worth the money or just plain junk?

Judging from what I read at several other forums, "junk" is a good description....

does this sound anything like a household hair dryer to anyone? 2 to 3 psi isn't a whole lot. The SRT-4 pushes about 6 psi in first gear and goes up from there. I wouldn't trust anything other than the real deal. It's a good thing you asked around before buying it to find out that you've probably got the same thing sitting on the counter of your bathroom.

There is one out there that is run off a bank of marine batteries for a ~15 second blast that actually does work. For the money, a decent nitrous kit would be better, in my opinion.

Best of luck!

I know nothing about cars or engines, at least according to Neon2.0T. Must be true then!
