Default Cluster Question???

Nitro R/T owner wondering if I decideded to swap my current cluster with a used one, put 10k miles on it and plug back in the original cluster, will the PCM automaticlly make the cluster display the actuall mileage that the PCM reads or does it still display cluster mileage??? Help???

Why??

Usually and this is not Nitro related cause I haven't done one yet, but on Grand Cherokee (closest Ive done) the security will lock you out as well but if I remember correctly the ODO will not change...I think its held with the BCM but the computer will have a serial communication error that will have to be reflashed at the dealer as the vehicle will not start.

Tach is inop for some reason so was going to put a used one in but if i ever decide to sell it later on i was wanting to put the original tach back in.
