Hello! I have a 2011 dodge nitro. Whenever I turn my steering wheel too far backing out of a space I hear a loud pop. I hear it again immediately after I brake when I start going forward. But then I don't hear it again unless I do that same action of backing up and turning my wheel too far.
Another situation I'm having that i don't know if it's related to the first is that I sometimes here a loud squeaking noise when I go over bumps that sounds like it could be springs? Or the axel? Just kind of concerned my car is going to completely fall apart and I'm not too advanced on looking at things, nor do I have a lot of money for that. Anyone help?

 

Probably a ball joint. Need to inspect them.
