Default Going to get my new tires, what to get?

So my stock michelins have sidwall cracking at only 8k miles. I am getting them replaced under warranty and am hoping to get some bfg at 285's in place of them. I have always liked the white letters out but am not sure on this truck. What to do, what to do?

I've been using BFG All Terrain KOs for years. I think they're a great compromise for traction, noise, tread life, etc. I plan to put them on my Ram after the stock Rugged Trail tires wear out.

I will sell ya my stock BFG rugged trails if ya want, I think mayfair is only interested in the wheels, if he's still interested at all.

I am getting 4 new 285 bfg at/ko's for $255. They had to order them so I willg et them put on saturday. The deal is that there are alot of michelins that have cracking around the sidewalls. I noticed it on mine, brought it in and they agreed at Sears that it wasnt normal. I am getting a credit of $205 a tire plus a tax credit for that amount. Sweet deal.

Hey Savage, what do you want out of those BFGs?

Was thinking of going with the toyo ATs but if the price would be right....

well, just got back from camping and sorry I missed the 1st post...

Pro-comp Xtreme A/T's... never let me down... never put me into an intersection like the BFG's did (on my 2000 ram) and still have lots of tread on them... 47k now & climbing...

this morning we pulled out of White Rock Lake north of lake Tahoe, fairly steep short incline to get out of the area we were in... several other big tired 4x4's scratched & clawed their way out up the hill. We could hear it from where we were staying about 75 yards away. Mentioned to the little woman... "OK, we'll see what these tires will do in it..." not a scratch or claw or extra dust tossed up... tires bit the whole way. They never cease to amaze me...

I'm not a big fan of the raised white letters only because once you get some curb rash ( here in the city ) they look like crap. I'd go all blackwall.

Hey steve, how is the road noise on those tires? How do the goodyear a/t perform? At my dealer they have incubus rims and goodyear tires that look good. Would I be better off just ordering the rims and getting different tires? I am mainly highway, but want something that will preform well when I do happen to go off road.
