Here's some of what I found.
It doesn't look good. Seems to go along with the injection pump going out. What year truck?

P1693 is the companion code...it means that there may be another code stored and you need to use a OBDII scanner to extract it.
If I was a betting man I bet it will be P0216....Injection Pump timing failure...
