Default Nitto Terra Grapplers or Pro comp xtream a/t ?

I know that tire talk is alot of posts, and I know alot of you are probally tired of seeing them. However I am about to put out some large cash on accessories and would love to hear which tire would be better for my application. Its either 305x65x17 pro comps or 295x70x17 nitto terra grapplers. The nitto's are about $200 cheaper.THANKS!!

Stay away from Nitto's. They are very soft and don't last that long. In fact you will wear them uneven before they wear out.
They look nice but I have heard nothing but bad about them.

Everyone that I know of who has the Comps loves them and will buy them again when they FINALLY wear out.

I swear I must be the luckiest man alive. A dodge with justfew dollars worth of trouble in 146k miles (U joints ondriveshaft)and I run the Nitto's and they have 15k, dont show that much wear and are evenly worn. I think they are nice tires, I'm just waiting to wear these out so I can get E range. O yea, I have burned my tires and they seem to take that pretty well. I'll tell you how many miles I get out of these if I dont buy new ones real early.

I ran the Terra Grapplers on my last truck. It was an F250 V10, so not quite as heavy in the front end as the CTD but hardly a light vehicle either. I had 40k on the tires and was just starting to think about shopping around for new ones when I decided that 10mpg just wasn't cutting any more and got the dodge. The were decent tires I thought. Did well in wet/dry/winter driving. Wasn't great in mud though.

Don't have enough milage on the Procomps yet to give a fair comparison (only about 6k or so), but so far I'm impressed. Still look brand new and handle quite well. Time will tell....

Well, I placed the order for some 305x65x17 Pro comps. I also have a ranch hand brush guard coming, and still trying to deside on which intake and exaust I want. Any suggestions? I am leaning towards K&N intake and flowmaster 50 series exaust muffler. Thanks for all of the help fellows.

I'm using the Amsoil 4510 air filter and a couple pieces of pvc to hook it up instead of using a full intake kit. The Amsoil is a dry filter and cleanable w/ low pressure compressed air.

As far as exhaust, I just put on MBRP kit MK96116 and the cat delete. Sounds good but isn't too loud either. Was an easy install on the garage floor too.

Very pleased with both of my choices.

Of course, I know the Aero exhuast is very popular around here too.
