2006 2500 4X4 Vibration
My dads truck has got a vibration in it. It is the worst at about 1700 rpms. We put the drive shaft out of my truck (05 dodge) as well as my wheels and tires. It didnt help. We then took out the front driveshaft and it was still there. The thing is you can feel it with the truck in neutral as well as park and drive. We took it to the dealer and they disconnected the torque converter and put a new harmonic balancer on. It didnt help at all. The dealership said that it could be an injector but they werent sure and said to go drive it and see if it clears up, but he has put about 700 miles on it and its still there. However, I dont think that is it because it runs fine and doesnt seem to miss at all or smoke at all. I am starting to think that it is in the motor somewhere? Does anybody have an idea or experienced this? Thanks

Talked to the dealership today and they are saying contaiminated fuel caused this. They are saying he needs new injectors, injector pump, clean the tank and so on. Going to be about a 4500 dollar bill. I just find this hard to believe considering the truck doesnt smoke and runs fine other than the vibration. They are saying it got water in it, but its got a fuel water seperator on it. The light never came on or nothing. Anyways they are saying contaiminated fuel isnt covered under warranty. Who knows with the dealer though they could just tring to get some money, but on the other hand that could be it. I just find it hard to believe.

2006 Dodge 2500 Diesel Vibrations
I have a 2006 dodge 2500 ram diesel few weeks ago the truck started vibration at 50 mph but when I let off the gas pedal or under 50 mph the vibration goes away so I thought it might have been the tires I replaced them it was still there when I check the U joints they were all good but while I was checking then them I seen the transfer case was loose moving up and without much force checking it out found three bolts had broken off couldn't believe what I was seeing that would allow the drive shaft to be off balance.
