i have a 07 dodge cummins 5.9 and while towing the hills of WV pulling a 9000lb trailer my EGTs are up around 1500% at 55-60mph and its been this way from new, i have 42000 miles is this normal?,,,anyone have any answers thanks
From what I've read and heard around anything north of 1350 and your asking for problems. Sounds like you may have your edge set on too high of a setting when towing.
I had the same problem with my 06 with the edge, there was something wrong with the edge computer. Take it back where you bought it and tell them to order you a new one because that one is faulty, once I put the new one in my egts droped by 400 degrees. Hopefully this helps you
Did you install a boost elbow to bring the boost pressure up? I just saw this and other local truck the guy was complaining that his pyro was extremely have quick. I ask what he got for max boost and barely pulling 18-19 PSI... With a Edge you should be in the 30-35 PSI realm.
