First, I have to know HOW THE HELL did you break teeth on those gears.

The ONLY way those teeth get broken is something foreign got in there.

Before anything got fixed, I'd want to know what it was.

Likely, it's in the oil pan.

Not a clue kids lol, like i said it gave me no indication of any problem, in fact I was turning onto an off ramp when it happened so i was at relativly low speed/rpm also I don't "abuse" my truck so I have no idea what happened. As for the debris being in the oil pan, I will go there again tomorrow and ask to have the oil pan taken off and get back to you with the findings.

I just remembered, about a year ago my injection pump was leaking couldn't find out from where so I replaced it with a used one, so there is a possibility that somehow something got in there then but if so, I don't see how it would've taken this long for it break anything.

Just got back from the mechanic, he had the oilpan off already & everything out, except the crank gear, the problem was the washer from the shaft on my injection pump broke & caused all of this!!!

Couldn't get all the pics to come on here so they are under my albums on my page, also bent the pushrods, it's amazing that the thing still ran!!!! Guess it could've been worse though.

Well, if those pushrods are bent, you might want to look at the valves also.

While it's possible that they were bent on the compression stroke, it's also very possible that you made some valve to piston contact.

DAYUM! I feel for ya on this one.
