Thumbs up MPG trick for ALL CUMMINS

iv done it to all my old cummins and i do it w/ all my new ones to. Every time u fill up put a full qt of auto tranny fluid in ur tank injector pumps wernt maid to run dry cheap diesel why do u think military runs multi fuel diesels and they last for EVER. I never get under 20 mpg and i keep it a 80 on hwy......Just saying iv been running my cummins like that 15yrs now it works

For all u Cummins people i bought an Edge EvoHT for my 02 yesterday then while setting in my office this morn i found this web site www.xtremediesel.com very good prices needles to say ordered another programer just cus the price was so good yall check it out

Hmm. All trans fluid is light weight motor oil with a ton of detergent in it so it has ash content.
I run 2 stroke oil in mine. Seems to work fine.

yeah iv run mtr oil too when i didnt have any tranny fluid am happy long as i dont run strait diesel

not good for the injectors to run oil with ash content.

best thing to run that I have ran for years is ashless outboard 2-stroke oil.

I buy it by the gallon at wally world.

A guy I used to work with ran about 50/50 diesel/atf in his 24-valve, he'd been doing it without problem for years when I met him.

that sounds expensive since ATF is usually more expensive than diesel.

i know someone that works at a junkyard and runs a mix of used oils and gas in his cummins. the guy uses very little diesel. he just uses it for starting his truck and the ford duel gas tanks makes it easy to do.

He gets it free, so his cost per mile is half what it should be.
