Yeah, it's a diesel, but they're keeping the motor, and the trans/xfer case is already out of it. They got it because one of their customers drove it into a metal gate and skewered it, steel beam from the gate went through the grill, through the top of the motor - knocked a couple of rockers off, through the firewall, through the instrument cluster, and pinned the guy against the seat.

the next best thing from fifth wheel hitch is to move your hitch as far forward as you can.
modification to the exhaust and trailer is next

I think not...

limit your turning radius even more, and definitely limit what you can tow...

next best thing to a 5th wheel hitch is a gooseneck hitch...

only I like gooseneck better because you don't ever need to remove the hitch...ball folds down and the bed has full cargo space again.

obviously you don't see that permanent camper on my truck and I can't use gooseneck hitch either

here's a picture of the best hitch ever the stability of 5th wheel and the clean look of gooseneck I can pull the pin and remove the king pin

our semi has one of those. limits what you can pull though...and yes I realize you turned a truck into a SUV...don't even get me started on how much I hate SUVs.

just saying that the hitch that far under the truck severely limits what you can pull...

you can't even pull my seadoo with that suvish thing because of that hitch position.

but hey, it's your rig. long as it works for you.
