Default Clutch Issue

I have a 2000 Cummins, 2500, 4WD with a NV4500 trans in it. Recently I was driving home from work and the clutch went from releasing in the middle (where I assume it is supposed to release) to releasing right at the top. The clutch still seems to be releasing all the way, but it is just a PITA getting used to it releasing at the top now rather than the middle where I'm used to. It has also gone back to releasing in the middle for a day or two and now its back at the top again. I'm just wondering if you guys have any ideas as to why it would do this all of a sudden, and the clutch itself is fine.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks a bunch!

Nick

I see that this is an older post, but you may have a bit of air in the lines, or even a failing master cylinder. I have replaced mine with the oe setup but have also heard good things about south bend if you ended up needing one.
