Default fuel shut-off solenoid mount ?

Have had a problem with the mounting bracket screws on my 96 Ram, and have since seen similar problems on another truck.
Screws shake loose and the bracket bends or breaks off, leaving the solenoid hanging by the wires, not so good.
Two top screws are 6 mm. thread size, but I am unsure of the proper size of the lower horizontal screw that is in behind the solenoid.
On mine it appears as though the screw was loose long enough to egg out the threads in the pump body. A 6mmm slides in easy, as well as a 1/4" fine. I don't have a 7mm screw here to try but I think trying one won't prove anything?
Can anyone tell me what the proper thread size is supposed to be ? and/or if anyone has come up with a fix for this ?
Thanks

can you tap it with a 1/4 inch coarse thread bolt?

6mm = .236 inch

Not much room at all while pump is in the truck, out on the bench would be different.

Was able to get a 6mm x 40mm torx head screw from the diesel shop down the road.
Not sure how much thread is supposed to be in there but this long screw reached into the bottom, found some purchase, maybe 15mm? and did tighten up reasonably.

Sounds like this can be a problem on more than a few trucks
Might be wise to check them over before it leaves someone stranded.
