2005 ram 3500 starts slow

Default 2005 ram 3500 starts slow

I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 Diesel starts slow takes like 10 seconds to start. then she smokes white right after it starts. I fixed battery connections it has new batteries. Could it need a starter dose not use coolant idea would help. Thanks

Heater grid working? Depending on mileage do a injector leak check. Or maybe time to replace.

It has 175k on it. Replace heater grid or injectors.

If the heater grid is working. Then I would look at an injector issue. Check fuel pressure as well. Could be a pump issue.
