Default turbo question

Will a CAI help the turbo spool up faster? looking at the AFE Stage II setup with the Pro-Guard? filter.

A cold air intake will definately make your turbo spool faster. i have a k&n intake and a straight pipe on my 05 and in my opinion it spools to fast. I have the edge setup and running about 60 on level 3 and putting it to the floor i hit my max boost limiter in about 3 seconds. I am going to get a straight through muffler and see if that puts a little back pressure on it and work better.

thanks for the reply... the straight thru muffler wont put any backpressure into your exhaust, that i'm sure of.

your setup, CAI, Edge and exhaust is the same as what I'm working on for my truck. I just ordered the AFE stage 2 kit and will be getting the cat removed & a magnaflow 30" 4" in/out muffler installed (in april). I think that will be it for any type of performance mods... next would be the tranny.
