1999 Ram Van 2500 vs. 3500 Parts Lookup
I just spent a heck of a weekend going to-from many parts stores and finally realizing that my 1999 Ram 2500 has tie-rod-ends that must be looked up as a 3500 / 4,000 ton front end.
When we first bought the van in 11/98 it had "3500" on the rear door -- just an interesting mistake I thought -- it is a 12-passenger (3 bench seats). The 3500 are the 15-passenger that hang out so far -- right?
The paper work says 2500. Maybe just an optional heavy duty suspension but I dont get that choice doing parts look-ups.
It has the 8-Lug 16 inch steel (chrome) wheels.
I've always had trouble on the rear drum brakes parts, too -- it is a 12-inch Drum.
Does anyone what part numbers or look-up methods I can use to get Rear Drum shoes ?
Much Thanks,
Lee
