Default Two 3500 Vans with same issue-Anyone seen this before?

My church has two 1995 Dodge 3500 15pass. vans with the 5.9L magnum engines. Both have less than 100K on them and both are experiencing an intermittent miss/skip. The engines will throw a injector#6 control circuit code. The injectors are not bad. Has anyone seen this problem? Surely it can't be too uncommon since we have two of the vans and both are experiencing the same issue. I run a small asian import shop and am trying to help the church but you could not find anyone with less Dodge experience than me. Naturally, the local Dodge dealer said they never heard of the problem before. Imagine that. Thank you for any help you could offer.

Although you're probably correct, how may I ask do you know this?

What was the code you got, P0206, P0276 or P0277?

Did you try swapping the injector with one, say next to it, and see if the problem moved with the injector?

If the injector is good, then the problem has to be in the wiring. Perhaps the position of a connector that the injector circuit runs through allows for water and road grime to hit it. This would result in a higher than normal corrosion factor on that connector.

I have replaced the #6 injector with a new one in one of the vans. Probably the easiest thing to do would be to just run a new harness from the injector back to the PCM.
