Default ram van 3500 wont stay running

I have a 1995 Dodge Ram Van 3500 that I just got from my mother in law. It will start but wont stay running. It will run for about 5 minutes ten die. I checked the fuel pump and it's working. I had someone look at it and they said it might be electrical. Anyone know what it would be if was electrical. Any help would be appreciated.

I've moved your post out of the Ram truck forum and over to the Ram Van forum. Good luck.

Since you're saying it can't be the fuel pump, there's a 75% chance the problem is a bad crankshaft position sensor. Have you checked for trouble codes yet? Places like Autozone will scan it for free and tell you the codes they find.

The van will not stay running long enuff to get it there, but I will figure something out. Any other suggestions. I will probably just go and buy cps and the coil pick up just to make sure.
