Default Steering hard to turn

I just noticed that my steering is little harder (when i m making a turn) then it used to be.Power steering pump was replaced like a year ago, i did check fluid level it is fine.Any info on what i should check?

Yeah, you should check the cost of a gym membership.

But seriously, check for a worn belt that could be slipping, or contamination of the belt by something like oil. You could also check the front end components for any damage that could cause binding. Lastly, see if the front components need to be greased.

lol Alloro thank you for all your help, i didnt think that belt could cause my steering to act up.I do need to replace a belt tensionar (I hear noise coming from it) that i know, so i guess that could be a problem, but i will also check front components, must read first of all one of those repair books i do have it, to find what needs to be greased.

If the belt is worn or the tensioner doesn't keep it tight enough, then slippage can occur. Whenever the belt slips, the pump isn't pumping fluid as strong and the power output of the pump drops. The same thing happens to alternators during heavy electrical loads or heavy acceleration.
