Don't get me wrong, I hate paying the dealer price like everyone else. I hate it when a part me or my customers need is a 'dealer only item'. My mothers car (94 Plymouth Sundance) needed a new horn relay, same one my van uses and it is a dealer only item, could not find it anywhere else. Oh and the gas tank filler tube grommets, a friend of mine needed one yesterday for his 86 Chrysler New Yorker, and two vans I have put fuel pumps in, only place to get them is the dealer. How can vehicles that are between 13 and 24 years old can still have parts like that you can only get at a dealership?
If a 1500 is a half ton, is the only difference in the springs the amount of weight they are designed to carry? From his previous posts I don't think he would be bothered by springs for a 3/4 ton van, it's just, will they fit?
I was thinking the same thing (3/4 springs). I put leafs in the rear from a 2500. In the front though, I was worried about it messing with my ride height and offsetting my alignment and ride quality. I did find b1500 springs for 95 on rock auto. That's why I was asking what years are interchangeable.
