Default Charging help

hello, i have a 1986 b150 van, 318 cu. the van has been sitting for about 10 years or so, and i got it for free, well to make a long story short, it isnt charging, i have repaced the voltage regulator, added a ground strap from the voltage regulator to the body of the van. ive added ground straps from the block to frame, and frame to body also. i purchased a new battery when i got the van, i have take the altenator and had it tested at the parts stor, and it tested good. i am a little lost on where to go from here, any help would be appreciated.

thank you
bud

Pull out all the wires stuffed behind the brake booster. There is a length of wire called a fusible link. There are many of them, but the one you are looking for is thicker than all the others.

You can replace it with another fusible link or a Maxi Fuse.
