Default Cooling system Modifications

Hi out there, I have been looking into making a change over from my mechanical cooling fan and water pump to an electric. I have had no problem finding an electric water pump for my 5.9L/360 but I have had no luck finding electric fan for the radiator.

If any one has done this to a full size B3500 van please let me know what you used and all that good stuff.

I have checked with Summit and Advance and lord I don't know who all and so far nothing. Buy Auto Parts said they could sell me a fan but I would need a manual switch to turn it on and off and they couldn't guarantee the fit. So here I am asking the Dodge folks as you are more likely to have good information.

Search this forum for efan, e-fan, electric fan, etc and you will find several electric fan conversions that we've documented. Still happy with mine.

Well I admit I don't know everything but electric water pumps are for racing applications only are they not? Also how do you replace the pulley the belt needs?

Electric fan a good had one a 89 B350 great results, good luck with the conversion.

For max cooling I always upgrade the radiator to a thicker core which gives you more capacity and cooling ability.

Electric fan conversion I plan on in the future but have not done yet.

Electric water pump I will not do. To many stories I have read about the short life of them.
