Default need help with a transmission swap

i need to know if i can swap transmissions from a 94 dodge 1500 4x4 with 318 engine to a 94 dodge 250 conversion van with 318

The tail-shaft length might be different. That could be measured before you remove it from the donor vehicle though.

It "could" work if you keep the van computer and the truck computer to see what one works best. If the 4x4 is manual with no computer interaction, then that is better.

I can't believe I missed that the donor is 4x4. With that in mind it will definitely not just bolt up. You WILL need to have the tailshaft and housing swapped from the old tranny to the new one. The 4x4 will have a transfer case bolted to the back of the tranny and therefore the tailshaft housings and shafts are different. Need to dismantle the transmission to change shafts, so I would look for a different transmission or have the one you have rebuilt.
