2001 1500 Ram Conv. van. Speedometer, odometer do not work, cruise control does not work, ABS and check engine light on constantly. Replaced both speed sensors (rear axle and trans), cleared out the P0500 code.

Initially replacing the two cleared out the code and the check engine light went off, but returned the following day and I again got the P0500 code (failed emissions because of it).

Thinking it must be wiring from one of the sensors that is bad. Any other ideas or suggestions?

 

Just wondering if there is one common thing that would effect all current issues (speedometer, abs light, check engine light, cruise control)
