Default 2000 Van-3500 - Speed/cruise question

I added electric fans last year and its fine but I have a project where I want to turn them off once the van hits hits a certain MPH so they dont keep running when the AC is on. I know the cruise wont engage until it hits a certain speed which is about 35, Anyone know what wire I could hook into with a relay that would accomplish this..?

How about the overdrive solenoid wires? Tie them into a relay coil and then the NC contacts on the relay would carry the fan control circuit.

Hey, that is a smart method. This way, the lower gear helps the cooling efan and the AC. When OD kicks in only the AC runs.
