Default how to replace the heater core in a b350 van

I have a 1993 dodge maxivan B350 with the big v8. The heater core is leaking. Anyone know the process for removing that? Does it require removing the whole dash or can it be done from inside the engine compartment?

I have not had the pleasure of replacing a heater core but plenty of folks on this forum have. If I recall correctly from previous threads you can remove it from through the engine compartment.

On a 1996 - 2003 Heater core, evaporator core amount to the same exact process and sequence of work. If not, I guess you have to pull the dash. Lucky you, it's no party either way.

Please note: ***Buy the factory service manuals. Not the useless Chltons or Haydens manuals: the official Dodge factory service manuals. They cost $80- 120 a set andwill save you a great deal of time and frustration ***
