5.9 timing chain
Hi everyone.
I'm not a big fan of forums because I find them difficult to navigate but looking for answers and assume this is the place to ask.
I have a 98 1 ton B350 with 5.9 and over 200k for miles.
I went to start it today and I got that sinking feeling when the engine turned over like it had no pistons and wouldnt start. I sprayed ether into the intake got nothing, and put a fresh plug to a plug wire and it has a nice blue spark. I can only imagine it is the timing chain. My question is. Is this 5.9 a non-interference engine. I'm not going to waste , time, money and busted knuckes if the valves could be bent. Thanks for your replies in advance.
