Default sliding door rattle and tire pressure

2001 dodge b 2500 van with 204,000 miles, running strong, Hi all 2 questions replaced rear latch on sliding door and it rattles because of play on the post. Does that post move more to inside of van to make it close tighter? Also got new tires goes up to 80 psi but side door says 65 rear psi and 50 psi got all 4 tires at 77, was wondering what is best? the van does have a little weight in it from tools and things. Thanks for any help

I have load range E tires that will handle 80# also and I have run the rears at 75#, but as you point out lower pressure in rear tires really help the ride. Just keep them rotated and watch for any uneven wear that might tell you that you have too much or too little air in them
