Default O.D. 46RH won't engage at high speed

Sometimes when the engine is on the warm side OD will refuse to kick in unless I take it to 65+. I have a 4.1 Rear end so this is unbearable at times.

How long (miles) since the tranny fluid/filter were changed and the bands adjusted?

What is "warm side" Temp in degrees would be a better way of explaining it. OD should engage around 45 mph under normal throttle. If your TV cable is off it can effect OD engagement.
