I have a 1998 B2500 Ram Van. In reverse gear or while turning slowly in D I can hear a bump noise coming from the rear axle or the drive shaft? The noise is definitely coming from under the van towards the rear. I had the vehicle in the shop recently to check the rear axle and the tech said the axle looks fine inside & out. He changed the axle oil and the noise went away temporarily, but now it has returned. I think it may be a bad wheel bearing or a problem with the drive shaft, maybe? Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? If so, what can be done about it? Is this common for the 1998 Ram Vans?
