Default Tech question 904 auto trans

Help, Ive got a 1981 dodge ram 150, slant six with 904 auto trans. My problem is the trans holds gear too long. 1st-2nd shift at 30 mph, 2nd-3rd shift at 45-50 mph. Will stay in second as long as I dont go over 45-50 mph.I need to know if you can adjust shift points. I need someone to tell me the correct way to adjust the throttle linkage at the transmission. any help would be appreciated. I really like this old truck. First Mopar I've owned in over 20 years!. My last was a 76 Road Runner (Volare). Contact me at idomybest711@aol.com Thanks
