Default Weird smell when I turn the A/C on.

Anyone ever have a problem with a weird smell when you turn on the A/C, is there a Cabin air filter to change?? I tried spraying simple green down the vent in front of the windsheild it didnt take care of the problem, anyone have any input??

Could it be a leak in the a/c or blower plumbing? Maybe it is pulling exhaust or some type of emission into the system.

mine did that too when i first bought my truck. it smelled like cat pee! i just ran the ac with the outside vents open for a while (prolly couple of months) and it went away. i think it was condensation in the vents or lines due to using the "recirculate" setting too much...

Ya, that is exactly what it smells like, Its seems to be dissapating It hasn't been as strong, but it has been getting hotter maybe all that stuff is drying up! I'll try using just the regular A/C not the recirculate mode. Thank You man, I thought I was going crazy.
