oil dipstick

Hi Everyone I know it sounds crazy but I hope somebody could help out. I need to know how long is the oil dipstick from the bottom of the rubber cap to the end. It is a long story but my friend was working on the car and did not pull it while putting back the oil pan. Obviously it got stuck and when we pulled it it got bent and messed up. It takes 7 days for the local dealer to get one I got a 93 stelth rt Dohc engine "J" I got one out from a Diamante but even after 4 and half qt it shows not enough and the specs are 4qtr + filter At any change I was ok with 3.8 qt Thanks for any help
