the 87 is the older gen supra..i would think it to be a drivers race.

Default RE: stealth vs supra?

The magazine 1/4 mile times for the 1994 and later Stealth turbo and it's twin, the Mitsubishi VR4 are as quick as 13.44(Popular Mechanics) The fastest 93+ Supra I have seen tested was 13.2 seconds. Head to head tests the Supra is usually quicker but sometimes equal. The comparison tests I have seen where the VR4 matched the Supra's 13.5 second 1/4 mile time, the Supra always had at least a 3-4mph advantage in the trap speed so at the end of the 1/4 would have been pulling away all the way to top end. The Stealth is about 200lbs heavier than the Supra.
See my other post in the "Post a picture" thread for a link to the fastest stock Stealth ever. In my opinion 1991 Stealth R/T non turbo would kill an 87 non turbo Supra, assuming both were manual transmission. The pre 93 Supra had less hp and was also heavier.

i agree totally when theyre kept stock.........modded no doubt the supra would win but if someone has proof (pics, specs, etc.) of an actual stealth that they think would take a highly modded supra please let me know cause no one i know can defend the stealth against a supra
