Default Rotor Replacement

Hello! I am new to the forum and have a couple of questions about replacing my rotors. I have a 05 Stratus SXT Sedan and bought some drilled/slotted rotors w/ Ceramic pads. My wife burned up my merchants Auto C.C. so I guess I have to swap them myself. I know it's fairly straightforward. I did a search but couldn't find anything exact on bolt size, metric or SAE wrenches and such. I crawled under the car a bit ago and it looks like the calipers are held on by 17mm looking bolts. Are there ant hex bolts that need to come off or anything? I suppose I'm looking for a list of what I might need. Also would the prefered method of relieving pressure on the brake fluid be to take the cover off of the resevor? When I get these rotors and pads on the car, what is the break in period I have heard mentioned. Friday I am going to visit some friends in the mountains and have to drive up/down a few good ones. Would it not be a good thing to slap the stuff on then promptly work the crap out of the rotors by decending a 2,000 ft mountain? I have alot of experience throwing a wrench on all sorts of makes and models but the car is still under warranty and even though warped rotors aren't covered I go into working on a new car with a little apprehension about not having what I need to get the job done then have to put it all back together and going to the auto parts store. I appreciate any input or guidance to a how to doc. or something. Take care all!
