Default CD Player connections.

Hello here.
I have an 2002 Stratus R/T Coupe and it has the Infinity sound system with 4CD changer.
But now I'm planning on buying a DVD player and put it in there instead.
(Here is the player: http://www.live2cruize.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=57760 (sorry about the Icelandic but you can see the info) )

Should there be any problems? And do any of you now if I can get some converters for the lines, like from old connections from the Infinity player and to this player?
AND where can I get some plastic cover around the player?

(Image of my interior)

With hopes that you'll guys will help me

(Sorry about my poor English, I'm Icelandic)

you can buy a wire harness at any car audio place even liek best buy and stuff. also check the size of the player you want to get. the stratus is 1 DIN, it looks a little larger than that, so it prob wont fit, also the cover to go around it you can get at nay walmart, or best buy also, but dont buy until you find the din size of the player or it will be a waste of your time and money

Thanks for the fast reply.
I'll check this out.
Btw, size in mm for the DVD player are: W x H x L = 180 x 178 x 50. Do you think it will fit?
With lot of thanks.

Since you say you have the Infinity system, make sure you get the correct wiring harness that is for the Infinity system. It will have "RCA" plugs instead of speaker wires due to the factory amp. I have heard some people have cut these and just attached them, but it didn't come out well. Also make sure your new DVD player has 2 sets of RCA outputs so that it all works. The install kit (plastic harness around HU) can be picked up at most places. I suggest Metra brand since they seem to use much thicker plastic than the rest due. And like everyone said, you will need to find out if that DVD player you want is a 1 DIN or not. If it is a 2 DIN it will not fit with out some custom work.
