Question about placing battery ground wire.

02 Stratus R/T 3.0 Seems that I may have a bad ground problem and I've ordered a new ground wire. My question is should the new ground wire be attached to the same spot or a different area? Keep in mind I'm in the learning phase here[sm=confused06.gif]so sorry if the above is a dumb question. Thanks, John
