Default Front end noises

I have a 2004 Dodge Stratus SXT. It has 29,750 miles on it. The front end makes many different irritating noises. When I turn the wheel to the left, usually from a standing start, I get a clunking noise under the front end on the left side. Same situation on the right side when turning the wheel to the right. It clunks and bangs and sounds awful. When the turn is complete all is well. Also, when traveling over dips in the road there is a clunk under the front end. A friend told me that could be stabilizer bushings as the problem. (How many are there and could my friend be correct). The clunking when travelling over a road dip usually occurs after the car is warmed up. When cold or just starting out it sounds fine. The noises in the turning of the wheels do it cold or hot, but more frequently when the car has been driven for awhile. Lastly, when giving it gas from a stopped position, there is a clunk from under the hood. Not a serious clunk, but it is heavier if you give it more gas. From an easy start with little gas given it does not clunk. Could that be a motor mount. Help...

Default RE: Front end noises

the clunking noise over the dips might be a strut, im having the same problem, when the car is cold the fluid inside the strut is cold so its a little more stiff to start off, doesnt take long to warm it up though, first couple little bumps and its warmed up. as far as the noise when you turn i would maybe look at yur sway bar links or your wheel barrings. the links are so small on these things and it could be the problem. I have an 01 r/t and ive changed both back ones

intereting. all of my front end noises occur when the parts are cool. my drivers side motor mount is creaky, but it only does that if its under 58 degrees or so...and once it warms up in the engine bay, it goes away. i have also noticed some creaking in the LF when i got over washboards, and im thinking that its a strut issue, but there is no leaking.

61,000 miles...and my front and rear motor mount are aftermarket

Sounds like a motor mount to me.
