Default 04 stratus stalling

I recently purchased an 04 stratus sxt v6, 17k miles, one prior owner. This car stalled on me three times
in one day. But it only stalls when I am at a complete stop. or stop light. this did not occur til i pumped gas (87 octane) at a station i have never been to before. i have about 1500 miles before my oil change is due. Any ideas on what could cause this? I am taking it in the shop. has this happened to anyone before? i have been told it could be very poor quality gas. my check engine light has not came on and I am not waiting for this to happen either. any feed back is appreciated

When it time to fill up again try using 91 octane and see if it runs better?

Have you run that gas out yet? I'm thinking it's coincidental (sp?) myself. Are you sure that there are no loose vacume hoses?
