Default How to remove headlight cover?

Headlight covers (clear plastic) are dirty/hazy. How do I remove them to clean? Service guy wants $50 per ...????

If you're just wanting to clean them then you're not going to get it done from the inside. the "haze" is on the outside of the lens. They are actually clear coated at the factory and this clear coat breaks down over time. Thats the haze that you see. $50 per lens is not a bad deal if he wet sands them with 1000 grit and shots a new clear coat over them. If he is just going to use polish, then youu're getting scammed. They will look in 6 months like they do now if that's what he does. If you can get the 1000 grit, wet sand them, and clear coat them yourself them you'll be better off. My best friend manages a Maaco and told me all of this... He did mine for "free"... It's nice to have friends!!!
