Default Headlights

I am new to this but I was wondering if anyone was having the same problem with their headlights as I am. I have a 2001 stratus sedan and there is a some kind of film on the the headlights that I cannot get off. I have been to about 5 autobody shops asking if they could buff them or something they keep telling me I need brand new headlights. I was trying to avoid spending all the money so If anyone else had this problem and they fixed it please let me know! I've already tried some headlight cleaner but it just made it worse! Thanks.

Most of us with and '02 or older have had this issue. Read the link that Nate posted... You absolutley do NOT have to purchase new headlights and I wouldn't reccomend the shops that told you that to anyone else. They don't seem interested in helping you, just making a buck off of you.

Jess - I beg you to be careful around Nate. He's registered with the DLE in most stares as a known sex offender! [sm=wootwoot.gif]
