Default is it bad?

well i found my leak on the stratus and it is the power steering lines. heres my question my ps fluidis very very low....what can hapend if it gets completelyempty? will it hurt something?[X(]

well the ps fluid is what helps run the pump, almost like having oil in the engine, you can burn it out if it runs dry, and youll lose the ability to turn the steering wheel with EEZ, will become stiff and hard to turn, expecially when going slow

Not to mention it will start to make that unGodly sound and everyone will stare at you. Fix 'em now or pay a bigger price later my friend.

Good luck getting the line fixed. I've had mine in the shop (not a dealer) three times for ps problems. New pump, rack, and lines ($900 total so far). There is one line that still leaks so I just keep a bottle of ps fluid in the trunk.
