2000 Stratus headlight switch turns on wipers

I recently purchased a 2000 Stratus SE for my daughter and we've dsicovered that when the headlamp switch is turned on the windsheild wipers turn on (not delayed). The wipers only turn on once the headlight switch is turned all the way to the on posisiton. The wipers only turn on when the iginition is in run or ACC. Any sugestions?

You wipers should only turn on when the ignition is on run or accessory. Although the headlight switch and the wiper switch are parts of the same multi-function switch, they are totally two separate wiring diagrams. Please go back and re-check. If the wipers only turn on when the headlight switch is on, then the problem lies on the multi-function switch, and will need to be replaced.
