Default 01 stratus R/T speaker help

the speaker in the dash is blown in my stratus. i dont know how to get to it to replace it. can ANYONE shed to light for me. its driving me NUTSSSs

Are you talking about the 3" speaker by the compass pod? The speaker is a 3 inch speakers, it's pretty much useless, it'll blow right away after you get a replacement. I would just unplug it and forget about it.

To access it- Underneath the bezel where the radio is, there will be 2 screws. Unscrew them and pull the big plastic piece towards you from the bottom. Unplug the hazards switch and remove the big piece.

Next, pull on the pod that hides the compass FIRMLY. This will be tight, but it just pulls. You may or may not have to remove the compass computer to get to the speaker.
