Default slipping P/S belt on 97 Strat

I've got an annoying problem when the car is cold - the P/S belt slips and squeals. Once everything is warm, it's not so much of a problem. To tighten the belt is a PITA and a 3-handed job - I've done it before. P/S fluid is at the expected level. Anyone know a trick to stop the squeal without getting underneath and adjusting bolts? Do they make a "stop squeal" for belts? Or should I just tough it out for the rest of the winter?
