Default noise after replacing timing belt

my timing belt broke and was replaced at a repair shop 4 days ago. now there is a ticking noise when I accelerate. what could be the problem?

Default RE: noise after replacing timing belt

Did they have to replace any valves as a result? If not, it could be that they may have sustained some damage and are not seating correctly.
